One of the most amusing things about the unhinged Leftists on Bluesky is the tropes they fall back to every time they’re challenged by someone who doesn’t think exactly like them:
- you’re MAGA, etc.
- you’re a bot
- you’re a transphobe, homophobe, etc.
- you’re a fascist, Nazi, etc.
Then they don’t understand why the Democrats lost the White House, House, and Senate in the last election by a slim margin.
I guess it’s better to yell at Amy Klobuchar over a picture of a pastel sunset over Lake Superior on Easter? That will win em over!
For those of us in the non-believers camp:
The more time I spend on Bluesky the more I realize how much of a dumping ground it is for the unhappy and unwell. Constant dunking on others for, God forbid, enjoying things like Coachella performances or people posting Happy Easter messages. Absolutely unhinged.
Its warming my heart to see the LA Philharmonic at Coachella with a huge crowd. Great way to spread classical music to those would otherwise wouldn’t seek it out.

I’m in the process of moving everything here to micro.blog so I updated the blog title here and added a Now page. I wrote before about having too many subscriptions and blogging platforms and decided to take action on it. On my Now page I wrote:
I complained recently that I have too many subscriptions, and too many blogging platforms. I am starting the process of moving my main blog here to micro.blog. I am close to the end of my allotted funds on Pikapods and not interested in paying for multiple services anymore.
If I’m being honest I am also struggling with the why of all of this so reducing the amount of services I use (and I’ve paid for and have been trying to find a use for) will hopefully make things a bit clearer. It certainly will reduce the cognitive load of thinking about them constantly.
Sometimes being a tinkerer can have it’s bad points so it feels pretty good making a decisive decision on all of this.
