@pktp fwiw…I’ve been using Day One as long as its been around as you have and it’s only gotten better (including a web app that not many talk about). Automattic provided them with a lot of stability. I’ve tried Apple’s Journal app just to see and it’s no Day One. Guess it all depends on your needs but no way I’d move out of Day One at this point unless it totally went under. I frequently journal on the iPad in Noteshelf or on paper and put PDFs of those entries in Day One. Can’t do that with the Journal app as of yet. Definitely worth the $25 I spend every year. And now the free tier is pretty generous as well.
